Support
I offer both Art Therapy and Counselling Services
Art Therapy
Within my Art Therapy practice, I invite participants to respond in whatever way that is meaningful to them, using the available materiality. It is not about being a confident artist, in fact you need not have any experience at all with art making, this therapy is about the process and less about the product. Here I support you in giving yourself permission to explore, use imagination, metaphor and symbolism. To be present and attuned to you and your process. Art responding to emerging emotions and feelings, may enter into an unknowingness or a fragile uncertainty, however this can also emerge as a means of knowing yourself.
I acknowledge how Art therapy can be understood, enacted and interpreted in diverse ways, where different lenses, frameworks and social realities inform the extent to which art is or can be healing for you.
Counselling
I also offer Talk-therapy that is progressive, relational, creative and adaptive. Within my Counselling practice, I aim to create an affirming, inclusive, culturally aware and comfortable space to explore and navigate your experience.
I aim to support you within areas of Racial Trauma, Radical Self Love/ Self care, Burnout, Body Image, LGBTQIA+ identities, Intersectional stress , Imposter syndrome (feelings of inadequacy, despite success), feeling ‘tokenised’, coping with Anxiety and Depression, Social justice fatigue and more.
You no longer have to hold these things on your own.
